Ms. Olivia Alina Tuyakula Kangadjela has joined SASSCAL as the new Human Resource Manager, effective 1st December 2025.
She brings along expertise in the areas of People Management, Performance Management, Strategy Formulation and Execution, Employee Relations, Employee Wellness, Remuneration and Benefits, amongst many others. Ms. Kangandjela takes over from Mr. Mattie Otto, who left the institution in September this year after serving SASSCAL for seven years.
The new Human Resources Manager holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources, an Honours Degree in Human Resources Management, a B-Tech Degree in Human Resources Management, and a National Diploma in Public Administration.
Ms. Kangandjela served as a member of the Human Resources Advisory Committee at the Namibia University of Science and Technology, member of the Employers Federation, representing employers at various labour platforms, while also serving as a Member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Board Committee at the New Era Publications Corporation (NEPC).
The institutions where Kangandjela worked include NEPC, the Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL), the Ministry of Works and Transport, and First National Bank. SASSCAL wishes her nothing but the best, and hopes that she will enjoy the stay with the regional body.
